Wanderers strike out

WANDERERS are clearing the decks for a summer spending spree.

Forgotten man Daniel Braaten has left the club for Toulouse, and Heidar Helguson looks set to follow him out of the Reebok.

The Norwegian striker has joined the French club for an undisclosed fee, while Nottingham Forest are lining up £1.5million bid for Helguson.

Braaten, signed by Sammy Lee for £450,000 from Rosenborg last summer, made just 14 appearances last season, scoring just once, and rarely featured after Gary Megson took charge.

The Bolton boss was happy to let the 26-year-old join the Ligue One side on a three-year deal after his ill-fated spell in England.
