A NEW 3D cinema will open today to bring some silver magic to the Market Place.
And it won’t cost shoppers a penny to take the weight of their feet.
The cinema is one of a number of attractions running over the coming weeks to entice shoppers into the town.
Rocket the Reindeer, an animated 3D movie, will be shown throughout the festive season at the cinema on the upper ground floor near JD Sports.
The short film follows Rocket and his friends in their quest to help the reindeer to find his missing antler.
It will be shown today and tomorrow and from Thursday to Sunday each week.
The first showing is at 11am and films will be shown on the half-hour. The final showing is at 3pm, except on Thursdays when it will be at 7pm.
Donations are welcome with proceeds going to Bolton Hospice.
3D glasses will be provided and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
