CELEBRITY jungle star Helen Flanagan has revealed she could not work the light switches in the hotel when she left the camp.
I’m A Celebrity . . . Coming Out is to be shown on ITV1 at 8pm tonight and captured the contestants as they were voted out of the jungle in Australia.
The former Thornleigh Salesian College student said: “I realised this was going to be harder than I ever imagined, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and yeah, I killed it.
“There is so much I will take from this experience. It sounds really stupid but even in the hotel I was like ‘Oh I can’t work these lights, I just can’t work them, argghh where’s my mum.’ so I said to myself “ Helen, do the lights yourself!”
The 22-year-old became notorious as the celebrity who was voted to do the most amount of Bush Tucker Trials this series with a total of seven.
She said she was worried that she humiliated herself in the trials because of how scared she was.
Her parents admitted it was difficult seeing headlines about their daughter being the most hated celebrity ever.
