Heavy fog causes traffic delays

First published in News

BOLTON commuters woke up to roads shrouded in fog today.

The thick fog has caused some traffic delays on the surrounding roads due to poor visibility.

There is a 10 minute delay on the M60 clockwise between J17, A56 (Prestwich) and J18, M62 (Simister Island). The average speed ten mph is expected to last until 9am.

There were also delays on the M62 east bound towards the M60.

Do you have any pictures of the fog? Send them to pictures@theboltonnews.co.uk
