Detention order for stone attack teen

A TEENAGER who pelted firefighters with stones has been detained for 10 months for a catalogue of further crimes.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was with a group of youths who attacked the firefighters and swore at them as they tackled a fire in Shackleton Grove, Johnson Fold, at 3.15am on February 28 last year.
He was given a 12-month youth rehabilitation order and a three-month curfew last year. But yesterday at Bolton Youth Court he was sentenced to a 10-month detention and training order after he threatened to stab a neighbour and took someone’s van.
Anne-Marie Nicholls, prosecuting, said the teenager went to a neighbour’s home with a kitchen knife and an iron bar on December 14 before demanding to be taken somewhere in the victim’s car.
He threatened to stab the man, and at some point during the journey the boy was said to have driven the car.
On October 26 he went to the home of someone else he knew and took keys to a van. He damaged the van near Moss Bank Way after crashing into a fence.
He then returned the van and jogged home.
Mrs Nicholls said the defendant, who pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated vehicle taking and affray, appeared to have a fascination with motor vehicles.
Adam Whittaker, defending, said the teenager only had a knife because he had picked it up after finding it on a fence.
He said the teenager put the knife down upon request and gave the victim the bar, which was from a dumbbell.
He said the offences happened when the defendant had been drinking.
The teenager, who had been on remand since he was arrested for the offence in December, was not enjoying the prison experience because he was bored, the court heard.
Chairman of the bench Christine McGawley, sentencing, said: “You have brought misery to a lot of people, including your family.
“The only way this can stop is to give you a detention and training order. I hope this will teach you a lesson.”
He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

The estate of around 760 council properties and over 300 properties sold under the ‘Right to Buy’ legislation has long held a stigma of being an estate with high levels of crime. Particularly:
These dysfunctional critters who plague society with their acts of delinquency are nothing more than degenerates who are dragged up by neanderthals who are the parents (Nature/ Nurture?) The adolescent in this case who was previously arrested for pelting 'Firefighters' should be given a harsh lesson in respect and courtesy. Johnson Fold is one of the poorest and deprived areas in England but that is no excuse for there to be such a defecit in education and basic human values and morals. The sooner the Goverment introduces tougher measures to deal with social outcasts and limit the benefits received by scroungers who produce babies, the better! REEBOK RHYTHM:how dare you right a paragraph like this johnson fold is 1 of the poorest estates you say? well let me tell you something as this is where i am from... johnson fold is NOT the poorest estate in england try looking breightmet way or others neandafalls as parents NO! parents where very hardworking people who probably earnmore than you in a month that you do in a year FACT! the fact that you are making him out as a mass murderer/rapist ect.. he is not and was not a bad lad just troubled dont mind the comments from the rest yours is slightly outrageous and out of order and you ARE gunna be reported for this!
■Criminal damage
■Violence against the person
■Burglary
■Vehicle crime
Ashtonleah, you are talking complete gibberish! First and foremost I said it was one of, not the poorest. Secondly, it is neanderthals* Please read the information above regarding the infrastructure of Johnson and stand corrected, preferably wearing the Dunce's hat! You obviously suffer from delusions of grandeur to try and defend a juvenile delinquent who has been detained for taking a vehicle without the owners consent and threatening to knife a person. The fact that you sympathise with the culprit in question speaks volumes.

to sail to Korea to fight in the war there, most of them 18 years old, people
in the crowds cheering them on, some of them made remarks about them all being white boys they then got in touch with a Liverpool firebrand, one
Bessie Braddock a Liverpool member of parliament the answer she
was told was that the dark skinned boys were conciencious objectors
and it was against their religiion to go to war, so bringing back national service it will only happen again, were the migrants will refuse to the service
