‘Devastated’ by burglary

A PICK-up truck was found abandoned in Westhoughton after being used in a burglary in Tyldesley.
The burglars filled the Nissan Navara, which belonged to the burglary victim, with household items and jewellery.
Other items taken included a Macbook computer, an iPad, two Slam scooters, an Xbox, a set of Bose speakers, two cameras and cash.
The burglary happened in Manchester Road at about 9.30pm on Friday.
The vehicle was found the next morning in Park Road, Westhoughton. PC Chris Waddicar said: “The victims have been left devastated by this burglary. This has been an invasion in to their lives and we are determined to find the people responsible.
“I would like to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in Manchester Road, and we also need to hear from anyone who may have seen the pickup being abandoned.” Anyone with any information can call police on 0161 8567255 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
