BOLTON boxing sensation Amir Khan is backing Wanderers for a win in today’s FA Cup clash with Everton.
Amir believes the confidence gained from the Whites Third Round victory at Sunderland can help them progress further in the cup.
The former boxing world champion said: “That win at Sunderland was what we needed to give us a bit of confidence.
“Everton are a tough team, but Bolton can do it because I think they play well when they play good teams. It maybe just gives them that motivation and an extra push, so let’s see that.”
He added: “It’s been tough for Dougie Freedman because we’ve been relegated and are half way down the table, so I just hope they can start winning some more games.”
The match kicks off at 3pm today at the Reebok Stadium.
