GRUBBY or rundown landmarks in Bolton could be cleaned up as part of a new campaign to add some sparkle to Bolton.
Residents are being asked to nominate a local landmark, church hall or community centre to have a free professional clean.
Vileda, a cleaning products brand based in Rochdale, is asking residents across Greater Manchester to nominate a local landmark or building which they feel needs a good clean.
The dirtiest or most rundown landmark will receive a full makeover as part of Vileda’s Big UK Clean-Up.
Company spokesman Lindsey Taylor said: “Vileda is extremely proud to be based in the North West and we really wanted to extend our knowledge and expertise of the cleaning industry to the wider community. We know how a little sparkle and shine can make people incredibly proud of their homes, so why not apply this to their local area.”
People can nominate a local building or landmark via the Vileda Facebook page until February 18.
