A HOST of famous faces are taking part in a charity dancing event.
Harwood resident and former Manchester United footballer Gary Neville and former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips, pictured, from Prestwich, will be on the judging panel at the inaugural Dancing With United event.
Celebrities taking part in the dance spectacular, in aid of the Manchester United Foundation, include Bury actress Lisa Riley, ex-Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and Coronation Street actress Shobna Gulati.
Shobna, who plays Sunita Alahan, will be joined by fellow Corrie actors Antony Cotton and Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz Stape.
Bury-born Antony, who plays Sean Tully, said: “The Manchester United Foundation is a fantastic organisation and has created an amazing event that I can see becoming an annual fixture in the celebrity calendar.
Six couples will battle it out to impress the judging panel, which also includes choreo-grapher Louie Spence.
The black tie event will be hosted by Ulrika Jonsson and comedian Angus Deayton and will take place at The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club, on March 7.
Tickets cost from £150. For details or to book call 0161 868 8444 or email james.lester@ mufoundation.org
