A STAR-STUDDED cast has been revealed for this year’s pantomime at the Albert Halls.

Three well-known performers will top the bill for Jack And The Beanstalk, which will run from Saturday, November 30, to Sunday, January 5.

Bolton panto favourite Stu Francis will make a welcome return to his local theatre, after entertaining audiences in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.

Joining him on stage will be Ben-Ryan Davies, whose recent accolades include playing Jonah Price in the BBC drama Rough Diamond and Ronan Burley in hit series Waterloo Road.

Ben already has two impressive panto performances under his belt, after he played the title roles in Peter Pan, in 2011 in Basingstoke, and Jack And The Beanstalk last year in Billingham.

Ben, who will play Jack, said: “I’m chuffed to bits I’m doing panto in Bolton.

“It’s the first panto I’ve done in the North West and as I’m from Rochdale it means all my family can come and see it. I’m really excited about it.

“I love doing panto. I started off my career doing musicals at school, so that’s how I got into acting. Then the TV roles came up.”

Adding an comedy class to the production will be the famous Charlie Cairoli Jnr, son of the Blackpool Tower Circus clown, Charlie Cairoli, who performed every summer season for 40 years.

He will play the role of the King.

Charlie Jnr said: “I know Stu Francis very well, so I think the audience will enjoy our comedy. I might even bring along some custard pies.

“I’m really looking forward to coming to Bolton and the Albert Halls. All I want is for people to walk out of the theatre afterwards and say what a great show it was.”

Tickets go on sale on Monday, February 11.

Cllr Akhtar Zaman, Bolton Council’s Cabinet member for community services, said: “The annual panto at the Albert Halls is the highlight of our entertainment calendar in Bolton, and Stu Francis is everyone’s favourite funnyman, so we are delighted to welcome him back again this year.

“To attract the likes of Charlie Cairoli Jnr and Ben- Ryan Davies is an amazing coup for the theatre.”
