A HOUSE went up in flames in a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters were called to the large detached house in Blackburn Road, Egerton, at 4.55am yesterday.
Firefighters from Bolton Central doused a fire in the living room. The house is thought to be derelict and no-one lives there.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service called in a dangerous building inspector to assess the state of the house and police are investigating the blaze.
