AN aquatics shop has reopened after a temporary, unexpected closure.
Dave’s Aquarium on Folds Road, reopened at the weekend after being closed suddenly last week.
It is understood the Bolton shop employs 15 full-time staff.
Manager Eliza Hemingway said: “The shop was shut on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning but opened again by the afternoon.
Everyone is back at work and things are running as normal.”
She declined to comment on the reasons behind the temporary closure.
Shutters were pulled down last Wednesday morning and workers were sent home by a representative from a West Yorkshire corporate recovery and insolvency firm O’Hara.
The shop, which is part of a chain, has been plagued by burglaries but this is not thought to be a factor.
Staff were unable to comment but said the shop had been trading well.
O’Hara and Co is an independent firm specialising in all aspects of insolvency.
