Cancer support page on Facebook

BOLTON people looking for support on cancer- related issues are being directed to a page set up by Bolton Cancer Patients and Carers Consultative Group.
The page includes articles about cancer awareness, lifestyle and cancer, getting information about financial help, coping with symptoms or side effects of cancer, cancer in the workplace and bereavement.
Karen Elliott, chairman of the consultative group, said: “This is not intended to be a source of expert advice, simply our attempt at helping people navigate their way around the wealth of organisations locally and nationally offering information or support on cancer related matters and to try and ensure that people know what’s available.”
