r the constant Grt Man police said....
Get a grip reporters you are supposed to be reporting about Bolton.
    .
Also why the constant road reports about Manchester, try also looking north of Bolton too
    Absolutely beyond belief!
So what would you say? the Bolton Police - which is factually incorrect, the Police in Bolton, which is factually incorrect (as Police Officers can come from Bury or even Salford nowadays!!!)

So Bolton never mentions about the various aaccidents that happen in Belmont or further north of Egerton or even at ones of the countries most dangerous corners near Affetside - all of which are in Blackburn with Darwen, Lancashire??? I would advise you to read the paper more carefully!"

Two "seriously injured" in collision

A MAN and a woman have been taken to hospital with “life-threatening” injuries this evening following a major road collision.

Police were called to Blackburn Road in Astley Bridge at 6.50pm following reports of an incident between Belmont Road and Bar Lane.

A Greater Manchester police spokesman said a car had been in collision with a pedestrian and the road is closed in both directions while officers carry out an investigation.

The spokesman said: “It was a serious road traffic collision and they were serious, life-threatening injuries.

“Our serious Road Traffic Collision unit is on the scene carrying out an investigation which is why the road is closed.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact police on 101.”
