PETER Kay is to appear in a Christmas special of comedy sketch show Little Britain, the BBC has confirmed.
The Bolton News revealed in August that the comedian would be playing the role of sleazy Les in a sketch with Little Britain regulars Dudley, played by David Walliams, and his disappointing mail-order Thai bride Ting Tong Macadangdang, played by Matt Lucas.
Peter - wearing a comb-over and outdated cowboy clothes - will play a cameo role alongside fellow comedian Ronnie Corbett.
Elsewhere in the BBC Christmas schedule, the Vicar of Dibley will wed a handsome newcomer in the festive farewell to the hit series.
Geraldine Granger, played by Dawn French, is swept off her feet and up the aisle by Harry, reports the Daily Mirror.
Harry is played by Richard Armitage, who is best known for his role as Sherwood's Sir Guy of Gisbourne.
Little Britain star Matt Lucas will also star as Toad in the children's classic Wind In The Willows, with Bob Hoskins as Badger.
Other highlights include Christmas Day films Monsters Inc and Pirates Of The Caribbean and a one-off hour-long special edition of Top Of The Pops.
"This year's schedule has got something for everyone," said BBC boss Jana Bennett.
