New court date set for three men charged over St Helens Road crash

A DATE has been set for three men charged in connection with a car crash in St Helen’s Road last month to enter their pleas.
Police support worker Furqaan Mohmed, Mohammed Usman Patel and Mohammed Vohra made their first appearance at Bolton Crown Court on Friday in connection with the incident.
Mohmed, aged 19, faces two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, as does Patel, aged 20, who is also accused of driving while banned, without insurance and perverting the course of justice.
Vohra, aged 20, is accused of perverting the course of justice.
The three men were granted bail until a plea and directions hearing on October 4.
No date was set for a trial.
Two people were injured in the crash, which happened on July 21.
