Family 'desperately worried' for missing Westhoughton man
THE family of a missing Westhoughton man are "desparately worried" for his welfare.
Mark Higham, aged 44, was last seen at a relative's house on Greenbarn Way, Blackrod, at about 4.30pm on Sunday, August 18.
He is known to be suffering with depression and has a number of medical issues.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Mr Higham is described as white, about 5ft 7in tall with a slim build and shaven black hair.
When last seen he was wearing an oatmeal-coloured jacket with a brown fur hood and a black fleece, jeans and white trainers.
Detective Sergeant Rob Parker, based at Bolton, said: "Mark's family are desperately worried about him as this is out-of-character.
"Mark has been suffering from depression lately and has a number of medical issues. He does not have his medication with him.
"If anyone knows of Mark's whereabouts then please call police on 101."
