A PROLIFIC offender has been sentenced to a suspended jail term for calling the emergency services on a non-urgent matter.
Elaine Hodkinson, aged 59, of Tithe Barn Street, admitted calling the police on August 29 and on September 2.
She also admitted breaching her Anti Social Behaviour Order by committing the crimes.
Her ASBO prohibits her from making calls to the emergency services when it is not an emergency.
Bolton magistrates sentenced her to a three-month jail term suspended for three months. She was also ordered to comply with a six-month supervision requirement and pay a £60 victim surcharge.
