St Ann's Hospice nurse ready for the catwalk

Hospice nurse Emma Norton is to swap her uniform for a more sassy outfit.
She will take a starring role on the catwalk on Friday at a ladies fashion lunch at Manchester’s Palace Hotel, organised by St Ann’s Hospice in Little Hulton where she works.
Emma is also a season ticket holder at Bury FC along with her 12-year-old son George, and says that watching the Shakers gives her relief from the pressures of looking after patients at the hospice.
Emma, who lives in Eccles, said: “My job has shown me that time is precious and George and I love going to the matches, both home and away.
“As a model, I think I’ll be slightly out of my comfort zone, though the rest of the staff here at the hospice would disagree.”
Emma runs the Hospice@Home team for St Ann’s in Salford and Trafford, a service which allows patients to receive care in their own home.
Tickets are available for the event which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, having raised around £413,000 for the charity during that time.
For tickets and further information contact Sarah Bennett, events fundraising officer at the hospice, on 0161 4983628 or email email@example.com
