Son stole and crashed mum’s car

A LITTLE Lever man who stole his mother's vehicle and crashed it into an electricity pole and wall has been given an 18-month conditional discharge.
Wayne Sunter, aged 38, of Elm Road, pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated vehicle taking and having no insurance when he appeared from custody at Bolton Magistrates Court.
Sunter, who was recently sentenced to a five and a half year prison sentence for drug offences, broke into his mother's car on July 5, before colliding with the pole and wall in Radcliffe Road.
The collision caused damage to the pole and to the wall and extensive damage to the vehicle.
Sunter was disqualified from driving for 18 months and had his driving licence endorsed.
