A WOMAN is in a coma after taking drugs at a popular nightclub on Friday night.
The 32-year-old woman, from London, fell ill shortly after taking a small amount of drugs at the Warehouse Project, Trafford.
The incident comes just days after directors at the club called a press conference after a man died there the previous week — and a number of recreational drug-related deaths across the region including two in Bolton.
Chief Superintendent Mark Roberts, from GMP, said: “Event organisers at the Warehouse Project have been working closely with police and, due to the diligence of staff there, two men were arrested for drugs offences on Saturday night.
“Those who deal drugs have no regard for people’s health or well-being and GMP will continue to work with event organisers across the city and with the community to tackle this issue.”
