Students' fashion show shows how to look good for only a few pounds
LOOKING priceless for pence is the name of the game at a charity fashion show with a difference.
There will be a “lesson” in how to look good for less at Bolton College on Saturday when a Pre-Loved Clothing and Accessory Sale is held there.
Charity Children Today is organising its popular annual fashion event for the first time at the College, in its Signature Restaurant from 9am to 12.30pm.
Desgner clothes are among the bargains, which will include dresses, coats and tops costing only a few pounds.
A selection is pictured here modelled by students from the College’s performing arts’ course. Refreshments are also available, provided by catering students.
The event raises funds to buy special wheelchairs, trikes and other equipment for disabled children.
Lorraine Henshaw from the charity’s local committee (pictured) said: “The college has been terrific in its support and it’s a great venue. We’ve been given some fabulous fashions and just want people to come along on the day to bag some bargains.”
Tops and skirts cost just £2 each while dresses will be £4.
