BOLTON hairdressers showed they are a cut above the rest when it comes to raising funds for national support charity Breast Cancer Care.
The six hairdressers and a nail beautician at Bridge Hair Studio in Blackburn Road, Astley Bridge, dressed up in pink — complete with bunny ears and wings — to support Pink Friday by donating all their tips for the day.
Nicola Harrison, Caroline Wallace, Andrea Williams, Antonia Pope, Megan Edmondson, Kane Murphy and Tracey Bimson raised £280.84.
Tracey’s daughter, Carla Yates, from Crazy Cakes also donated cakes to sell, and owner Nicola added £100 donation to push it to around £400 raised from the fun day.
