Men charged after police drugs swoop at petrol station in Little Hulton
FOUR men from Leigh and Atherton have been charged with drugs offences after police swooped on a car in Little Hulton.
The men were arrested on Wednesday when specialist pursuit police officers stopped a Vokswagen Caddy at a petrol station in Manchester Road East, Little Hulton.
Anthony Smith, aged 31, of Wyndham Avenue, Leigh, has been charged with two counts of supplying class A drugs.
Shaun Smith, aged 26, of Carders Close, Leigh, has been charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property.
David Knight, aged 32, also of Carders Close, Leigh, has been charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
Thirty-eight-year-old Samuel Reynold, of Mardale Close, Atherton has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
All the men appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court today.
