An 11-month-old girl was freed by firefighters after becoming locked in her living room.
The girl was stuck in the living room of her home in New Church Road, Smithills, when the handle came off the door.
Firefighters from Bolton North fire station came to the house at about 5pm after receiving a call from the child’s mother, and they quickly freed her.
The girl was not visibly upset by the situation, and was said to be happily playing with her toys while she was locked in for about 10 minutes.
