ARTISTIC youngsters at Mytham Primary School have helped brighten up a corner of their school.

A colourful mural has been painted on the staircase wall by Cassie Dainton, art teacher at Harper Green School in Farnworth.

The teacher worked with pupils on a project to create the mural, which was designed to inspire youngsters at the Little Lever school to develop the qualities needed in school and in the future.

She said: “It was a pleasure working with the Years Five and Six pupils.

“They showed great enthusiasm, talent and teamwork in all stages of creating the mural from the design stage through right through to the finished mural.”

come on BN - this is a story about Mytham Primary Little Lever, not Harper Green School - either the headline is misleading, or the story is wrong. Did Mytham pupils produce a mural at Harper Green, or did they produce a mural art their own school, assisted by an art teacher from Harper Green?
