VICTORIA Hall is set to hold its production of Cinderella between January 3 and 18.
The amateur dramatics society, which is based at the hall in Knowsley Street, is busy rehearsing the show.
Publicity officer Anne Dixon, who plays the Fairy Godmother, said: “The children are enjoying their new-found talent.
“For many of them it is their first time on stage”.
Tickets are on sale at £6 each for adults and £3 for children aged four to 16.
