Tonge Moor gas leak should be fixed by Monday

WORKERS are on site to fix a gas leak in Tonge Moor.

Staff from the National Grid have been working on the problem on Bury Road and Penrose Street since Monday.

Temporary traffic lights are in place to direct traffic, and work is expected to be completed on Monday, December 16.

That said the BN gets these stories form a PDF file the council/government send out on a Friday/Saturday so it whatever they call it is suppose.

Well done to National Grid on this job anyway, they have only had the temp lights up when necessary keeping disruption to a minimum.
