YOUNGSTERS from across Bolton have been wowing parents with their versions of the traditional nativity story.

Children at Eatock Primary School in Westhoughton told the traditional tale of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus — but from the point of view of the animals.

Louise Ormesher, nursery teacher said: “It was fabulous. We’re so proud of the children, and parents also said they did a fantastic job.

“The children loved it; they rehearsed their hearts out and put a lot of effort into it”

The children at St Peters and Paul’s Primary School, in Pilkington Street, Bolton, acted The Sleepy Shepherd.

Year Two teacher Lena Fletcher said: “It was fantastic and very successful.

“The children really enjoyed themselves and had a good time.”
