A MAN suspected of stabbing a Farnworth dinner lady six times before turning the knife on himself has been granted fresh police bail.
The 50-year-old is alleged to have stabbed the woman, thought to have been his partner, on October 15 this year after she finished a shift at St James’ High School.
The woman is thought to have been stabbed while waiting for a bus home in Highfield Road, Farnworth.
The man answered bail on December 20 and has now been bailed again until January.
