BIG-hearted Max Isherwood-Trill was so moved by the plight of Filipinos whose lives had been left devastated by Typhoon Haiyan he held a fundraiser at his school.
The eight-year-old staged a good as new toy sale at St James’ CE Primary School in Daisy Hill. He raised £100 to go towards the relief effort.
Max said: “I hope it will help a lot of people get through the typhoon because I know they are having a hard time in their country. I hope it will help them get food, water and clothes.”
