A LUCKY Bolton Wanderers fan will lead the team on to the pitch today at the Reebok Stadium.

Bobby Oyston, who won the mascot competition organised by the club and the Market Place Shopping Centre, will also get the chance to join the team before the game.

Six-year-old Bobby, who found out he had won just before Christmas, will walk the team on to the pitch before the match against Nottingham Forest and will then watch from the Wanderers’ suite next to the Director’s box.

To top it off he will go home with a full Wanderers home kit and framed photo of himself with the team captains.

The competition was launched in November in the Market Place with Bolton Wanderers’ mascot Lofty the Lion and the Reebok Rebels cheerleaders.

Rod Neasham, centre manager at Market Place Shopping Centre, said: “Bobby is over the moon, he can’t wait to walk his idols on to the pitch.”
