Moss Bank Park was a “hive” of activity on Saturday for a day of family fun.

Nature-loving youngsters were invited to take part in a range of arts and crafts throughout the day at The Hive, free of charge.

Two-year-old Georgie Oxley, left, planted some nasturtium seeds and was joined by Bentley Close, below, aged two, in enjoying the outdoors activities.

So sad to see Mossy neglected with no facilities when its the most used park in this town by far, no cafe even. Yet queens park that is used little and has a terrible reputation for being unsafe for kids to play has millions spent on it with community center, cafe, etc etc.. How does that work then?
