A 59-YEAR-OLD woman was threatened at knifepoint during an attempted robbery.
The robbers burst into the woman’s home in Maple Crescent, Leigh, and walked into her living room before demanding cash from the victim.
The men then searched the house, but left empty-handed. The woman was not injured.
The knife man was white, 5ft 5in tall, slim, and wore a beige hooded top with a scarf covering the lower part of his face.
The robbery happened at about 8pm on Tuesday.
Det Con Stuart Woodhead said: “Unfortunately we do not have a description of the second offender as the victim was so frightened, her attention was on the man holding the knife.
“I would ask anyone who may have either seen these men break into the back of the house or leave at the time of the incident to contact police.”
