EACH week police appeal to readers of The Bolton News for help tracing wanted criminals.

Baby attacker Andrew Rutter, aged 28, is being hunted by police after he caused his seven-month-old son to suffer bleeding in his brain by shaking him.

Rutter has been found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm to the boy and was jailed for six-and-a-half years in his absence.

A warrant was issued for his arrest on January 28.

A 19-year-old man is wanted on suspicion of assault at Spar in Chorley Old Road, Bolton.

David Petrovics is alleged to have committed the crime on December 11 last year.

Suspected car thief Russell Cooper, aged 23, is alleged to have committed the crime between May 4 last year and May 7 last year in Blackrod.

Police are still trying to trace James McCulloch, aged 27, who is wanted on suspicion of a public order offence at the employment services office in Bolton town centre last August.
