SUSPECTED criminals arrested on suspicion of being involved in a violent gang clash when a gun was fired have been rebailed.

Police were called to a suspected riot in Kempton Rise, Blackburn, after up to 30 men clashed in the street on December 14, last year.

A 34-year-old man, from Bolton, was arrested in connection with the investigation, along with two men from Blackburn.

A single barrel shotgun was found by officers near the scene, in Kempton Rise.

Two vehicles, which the police believe the offenders used, were also recovered nearby.

A Lancashire Police spokesman confirmed the Bolton man arrested and one of the men from Blackburn, have been rebailed.
