HOSE reels which had been missing for three years were given back to firefighters after they were found by the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team (MRT).
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service mislaid a number of hose reels after tackling a huge moorland wildfire in Anglezarke Moor in 2011.
But Bolton MRT member Alistair Greenough came across six of the hoses — and after further searches by the team several more were found. Preston Fire Station Watch Manager Mark Woodward said: “Our thanks to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for the assistance in retrieving our hoses.”
