A DRUG dealer has been jailed for eight years after police surveillance led them to a kilogram of cocaine at a Bolton house.
Adil Khan, pictured, aged 25, of Brandwood Street, Deane, was jailed for eight years at Bolton Crown Court after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possessing a false passport.
Recorder Roderick Carus was told how officers from Greater Manchester Police’s serious and organised crime group had been keeping watch on a house in Eastbank Street, Halliwell.
On August 30 last year they spotted Adil coming out of the house, searched him and found he was carrying drugs packaging.
They then searched the rented house in Deane and found almost 1kg of cocaine, which was up to 75 per cent pure. The drugs had an estimated street value of £144,000.
