FITNESS fanatics will feel the burn to raise cash for a blood cancer charity.
Staff and members of the Virgin Active Gym in Eagley Brook Way, Bolton, will donate all the proceeds from a day of fitness on Saturday classes to the Anthony Nolan charity.
More than 1,000 balloons will also be released into the sky at noon.
The event has been organised by senior group exercise manager, Lisa Latona, to show support for Bolton School pupil and gym member Ellie Harding — who has been fighting leukaemia since 2011.
Instructors are also planning a two hour “spinathon” and two hour Zumba session plus stalls, raffles and a tombola.
Members can book a place on the classes for £2 or £5 for non-members at the gym’s reception.
