A TAXI driver has been cleared of sexually assaulting a woman.
Khuram Abbas, aged 35, of Court Street, The Haulgh, denied sexually assaulting the woman in Water Road, Manchester, on October 21, 2012.
He stood trial for the crime twice, but the jury was unable to reach a verdict on two occasions.
No evidence was offered against Abbas on Friday at Manchester Crown Court and the allegation was dropped.
