PEOPLE arrested during a series of raids on a Halliwell road have appeared in court.

Police swooped on Louisa Street on July 31 last year after residents reported their concerns.

Stephen Hulston, aged 51, of Louisa Street, has been charged with possessing a Chinese electric stun gun, disguised as another object, possessing cannabis and possession of amphetamine with intent to supply1.

He has also been charged with possessing cannabis and possessing amphetamine on November 7 last year.

He entered no pleas.

He will appear at Bolton Crown Court on March 21.

Candida Knox, aged 26, of Louisa Street, has been charged with possessing cannabis and possessing one round of ammunition.

She is also charged with possessing amphetamine1.

She admitted possessing cannabis but denies the other offences. William Miller, aged 25, of Priory Place, Tonge Moor, has been charged with possessing one round or ammunition and possession of cannabis on.

He is also charged with possessing amphetamine.

Miller and Knox will appear at Bolton Magistrates Court on May 27.
