FOUR people have been charged after they were arrested in a police raid on a suspected brothel in Halliwell.

Police swooped on the mid-terrace home in Rushey Fold Lane, after getting reports of anti-social behaviour at the address from nearby residents.

Four people were arrested.

Two women, Viviene Bodrogi, aged 19, and Kovari Gyongyi, aged 40, both of Rushey Fold Lane, and two men, Laslo Kuti, of Alder Street, Great Lever, aged 33, and Peter Orsos, aged 36, of Rushey Fold Lane, have all be charged with being involved in the management of a brothel.

The crime is alleged to have taken place on March 5.

Kuti faces an addition charge of having acquired, used or had in his possession criminal property, namely £25,730 in cash.

Another woman, Anna Kovacs, aged 35, of Alder Street, Great Lever, has been charged with illegally acquiring, using or having possession of cash.

All defendants deny the charges. They are due to appear at Bolton Crown Court on March 21.
