A BOLTON teacher has been charged with terrorism offences.
Jamshed Javeed, who teaches science at Sharples School, has been charged with intending to assist others to commit acts of terrorism.
Javeed was arrested, along with three other people, in police raids on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old, from Cringle Road, Levenshulme, will appear tomorrow at Westminster Magistrates Court.
Two other men, aged 29 and 18, and a 21-year-old woman, are still in police custody for questioning.
They are suspected of being involved in aiding terrorism in war-torn Syria.
Police have said their investigation was not linked to a terrorist threat to Greater Manchester or the UK.
