THE inquest of a man who died more than a month after being hit by a car near Bolton town centre will not be held for several months after a review was adjourned.
Harold Waring, was hit by a black Volkswagen Golf as he crossed Topp Way, near to its junction with St George’s Road in the evening of November 12.
He suffered a fractured pelvis and was discharged from hospital on November 29. but was taken ill on December 29, and died in hospital the same day.
At a pre-inquest review yesterday, it was revealed that police will require more time to investigate the incident, including creating a report from the collision reconstruction team.
Deputy Coroner Alan Walsh adjourned the review, which will continue on June 4.
