TWO young boys required the help of firefighters after a prank left them handcuffed to each other.
The boys had been messing around with a pair of toy handcuffs and one of them decided to shackle himself to the other.
It was only at this point that they realised they did not have the key for the cuffs.
They then made their way to Farnworth fire station where crews used cutting equipment to free the youngsters.
Watch manager Darren Banks said: “I think they were a little bit embarassed.”
