MORE than 30 computers have been stolen from a primary school.

Burglars targeted Ladybridge Primary School in Broadford Road, and searched the ICT room.

Thirty-two Dell computers were stolen before the burglars drove off.

It took place on Friday at 2.15am.

Det Insp Charlotte Cadden, from Bolton North Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The school has been deliberately targeted and the offenders have taken nearly every computer used to teach the children.

“The equipment will cost a lot to replace however it is the pupils who will suffer the most. These computers were often used during lesson time to help them understand their subject and I would encourage anyone with information to call us.

“If you know who is responsible or have information about someone selling such items, please get in touch.”
