We have a fantastic opportunity for three dynamic, high performing and enthusiastic communications professionals to join our Programme and Service Communications team at the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC). Working in this fast-moving and exciting environment you will be based in Leeds working with our communications managers on developing and delivering communications strategies and plans to support programme and services that are vital to the NHS, the social care sector and over 63 million patients.

We are keen to hear from people with experience in communications, public relations or marketing – ideally backed up with a professional qualification. A key part of the role is explaining how new technology, data and information is making a difference to patients and clinicians. So we are looking not just for professionals with excellent writing skills but people who can translate complex issues into an easy to understand form for a very diverse audience.

You should also be confident in developing and using a range of communication channels including print, web and digital, social media and events. Flexibility is important too: your responsibilities may change as the priorities of the HSCIC and our customers change.
