A TYLDESLEY councillor has been barred from using all council computers after he was found to have accessed pornography from a Wigan Council laptop.
A cross-party standards committee unanimously agreed, in his absence, that independent councillor Robert Bleakley had broken the council’s IT policy and code of conduct.
It is the second hearing hearing against Cllr Bleakley this year, and said to be "one of many" complaints lodged against him.
Wigan Council says he will now undergo "coaching" to address his behaviour.
