Councillor's computer ban for looking at porn on council laptop

The Bolton News: Councillor's computer ban for looking at porn on council laptop Councillor's computer ban for looking at porn on council laptop

A TYLDESLEY councillor has been barred from using all council computers after he was found to have accessed pornography from a Wigan Council laptop.

A cross-party standards committee unanimously agreed, in his absence, that independent councillor Robert Bleakley had broken the council’s IT policy and code of conduct.

It is the second hearing hearing against Cllr Bleakley this year, and said to be "one of many" complaints lodged against him.

Wigan Council says he will now undergo "coaching" to address his behaviour.

Some real bug-bears of mine on here which honestly do not look like typo's....

"Their" as in belonging to someone e.g. their house is on fire
"There" as in place e.g. Over there. There is a house
"They're" as in They are e.g. They're over the moon
"Loose" instead of "lose" - Loose means slack, opposite of tight; lose means the opposite of win
"Should of" instead of "Should have"

And yet seen quite a few of these above! Trying not to be the grammar police as I do have my own faults but these seem to appear over and over and over again!
