SHAMELESS star Alice Barry signed copies of her book — to support a Bolton DJ’s sleepathon in aid of Bolton Hospice.
Bolton FM presenter Matthew Davidge raised £1,800 during his six-night charity sleepathon at Asda on Middlebrook Retail Park.
He has been joined by several famous faces including comedian Dave Spikey, Emmerdale’s Mark Charnock, former Coronation Street actor Bruce Jones, comedian and Crackerjack star Stu Francis and Bolton Wanderers mascot Lofty the Lion.
He said: “I’ll be steering clear of supermarkets for a while. Every time I go in, I will want to sleep in the window. It was nice of the celebrities to turn up and get involved.”
Mr Davidge will be back on air at Bolton FM tomorrow.
